trying desperately to find some motivation at the moment.

i have a paper to write for next week but want to get it done as soon as possible to give me some time to start work properly on my thesis. i was feeling inspired last week by the subject of my thesis, but sadly it is on the back-burner again. i started smoking again at christmas having given up for the best part of 6 months, really stupid of me, but now having given up for a couple of days i am again smoking, albeit secretively as everyone else thinks i've given up.

sitting around half-heartedly reading and getting nowhere. the best thing at the moment is that the weather has improved drastically in the last week and i can go out for my strange wanders again. for the last three days i have been out for a stroll once or twice a day, usually heading off with no plans with just my john cale cds for company and a packet of smokes, with the aim of getting lost and discovering new and exciting places. i haven't yet found this paradise i am seeking but i will keep on trying.

from humble beginnings i hope this may develop into something interesting, but for now that is my lot.
